If you’ve always dreamt of saying your vows in this picturesque Western Cape Winelands Region and are looking for a small and personable venue, Banhoek Lodge is a great option to consider. The upmarket boutique guest house, which accommodates a maximum of 14 guests in 7 rooms, is nestled on the slopes of what is undoubtedly the most beautiful valley in the Cape Winelands, offering the perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding, an elopement or milestone celebration.
Our wedding and celebration packages start from as little as R22 356 per night and offer exclusive use of the entire guest house on a bed and breakfast basis. This includes accommodation for a total of 12 guests plus complimentary use of the Honeymoon Suite for the wedding couple. Couples are responsible for arranging their own caterers, waiters, décor, DJ, crockery, cutlery, table linen and glasses.
We recommend holding your once-in-a-lifetime ceremony outside on the lodge’s patio overlooking the vineyards before retiring to the swimming pool courtyard area to enjoy Sparkling wine and canapes. For the wedding feast itself we suggest celebrating in the dining area, where the lodge’s floor to ceiling glass doors can be flung wide open leading the eye to the glorious mountain views outside. The wooden floors also provide an excellent but intimate dance floor.
Wedding guests can be accommodated overnight in Banhoek Lodge’s 4 Deluxe King Rooms and 2 Junior Suite with Mountain View, which all boast beautiful mountain views, fireplaces, patios or balconies, air-conditioning and underfloor heating.
The magnificent Superior King Suite, where the wedding couple will spend the night, boasts a private balcony overlooking the Banhoek Valley, a sitting area with a flat screen TV and wood fireplace, a king size bed fitted with freshly laundered bed linen and a spacious open-plan bathroom with a large free-standing bath and shower. This room is the epitome of romance. Air-conditioning, underfloor heating, and a stocked minibar is also provided.

Banhoek Lodge’s exclusive use package requires that the lodge is booked out for a minimum of two nights.
Banhoek Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 20 guests for the ceremony and has accommodation facilities for a maximum of 14 guests.
Banhoek Lodge will be responsible for servicing the lodge and rooms daily and will provide a hearty breakfast each morning.
It is the wedding couple’s responsibility to arrange their own caterers, waiters, décor, DJ, table linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
In the event of load shedding, it is the wedding couple’s responsibility to arrange a backup generator if they wish to do so. Since Banhoek Lodge is situated on a farm, its water is sourced from borehole water. If there is no power there is also no water.
