Colin De Wet owner of Winelands Guide, born and raised in the Winelands which make him a great local guide when visiting the region. He started to work as a Wine Tasting Room Ambassador on a number of South Africa’s award-winning wine farms. His resultant contact with tourists both foreign and domestic inspired Colin to start his own small private tour operating business Winelands Guide in 2016. Offering a wide variety of personalized private tours for both individuals and small groups, Colin’s passion for South Africa’s wine and tourism industries is unmatched!
Colin can happily say that he is a fully accredited and registered tourist guide for the Western Cape and Eastern Cape. Today Winelands Guide is a small family tour operator business with Nazlee his wife running the operations, Colin covers marketing and tour guiding with also two full time tourist guide’s Prince & Tim which is also local guides.

Where can you go?
With the luxury of a private guide at hand you can decide on the distance and elevation of the tour. Each area has different terrain and the rider’s technical ability will always be assessed before deciding on the venue for the tour. Riders of all abilities are welcome and we offer tours for highly advanced riders, all the way to beginners. Day trips are also available.

MEET THE TEAM
Casa Cerveza’s guides have completed 3 Cape Epic Tours and are highly experienced mountain bike riders. Not only will they be able to guide you through the many trails available, but also impart great skills to beginners. You will never have to get into a car, all tours start and finish at Casa Cerveza in central Stellenbosch and are 70% single-track. All guides have their first aid Level 1 qualification and are able to repair bikes during the tour if needed.
